Raised on an FDA pushed healthy diet for diabetics since my grandmother was diabetic and she felt since I was an obese child I was going to be diabetic too.
As a teen I pushed myself til I dropped every day with exercise, sports, military style band, dance, etc. in desperation to be thin. Started with major health food kick; didn't matter.
Then I became vegetarian then raw vegan.
Switched to a 'warrior style diet' for better martial arts training. It was basically paleo timed differently.

Over to AIP/GAPS/Paleo
